Why is BTS photoshoot for Singles Magazines in 2017 one of the best photoshoot ; a thread.

#fashion #bts #ARMY
I can’t talk about photography, so I’ll focus on fashion style and colours. I think that’s what the most interesting nonetheless.
As a beginning, the photoshoot is divided into three to four different styles or patterns, which are quite distinct.
The distinction comes from the influence of and period inspiring the outfits, but also from colours, patterns, the complexity of the fabrics, maybe even about seasons etc. In a nutshell, everything that can differ multiple fashion styles.
The first part is more hivernal.

Sweaters and thicker fabrics, trousers with darts. Cold colours that remind the hivernal dessin, especially Jimin’s light blue sweater, a lot of colours are on the blue/grey spectrum.

The whole body is covered : welters, trousers, turtle necks.
I feel a kind of ´early 19th century’ influence. From the hats, turtle necks and the layering above the turtle necks with shirts and long coats, an ´Oliver Twist’ vibe somehow.

The colours, trousers, loose sweaters with turtle necks. And the collar of the coats in fact (Jimin’s).
The Oliver Twist vibe is clear here.

Yoongi’s suit under the long coat, especially the pattern and fabrics, plus the hat. And Jimin’s coat shape, with the trousers and shoes.

Really dark concept, but a simplicity that goes well with the colours and season.
Namjoon’s style is quite great though.

The layering with turtle necks, the sweaters which shape is quite trendy nowadays (cropped or oversize). The fabrics of the long coat.
The colours are warmer, yet there’s still a form of nostalgia coming from the style and its influences.
But ... look at this FUDGING COAT !

Jungkook’s style here is really incredible. Such a unique piece !

The multiple fabrics on the blazer-like coat, yet the fluidity of the coat which flows around him. And the pattern at the end!

Original long coats can make a whole look.
Then, there is this concept that really comes in contrast.

More spring-like, the end of winter. With cold and melancholic colours confronting with brighter and more vibrant colours.
The shades of blue are certainly more vibrant. Black comes in to make the blue even brighter.

Long hivernal coats still, but the patterns become more complex. There are less pieces of clothes, everything is lighter.
The style is more complex.

Cold colours are in front of a warmer and spring-like colour.
There are more types of fabrics as well and more patterns. The suits are less dark, While comes in.
Namjoon’s suit has an incredible pattern. I think the association with the ancient pink at the back is awesome.

And Jungkook’s look is a perfect way to bring his sweater up. The blue wool with the white flowing pants, and the white cotton turtle neck that has a stiffer fabrics👌
Here, the confrontation between warm and cold colours is even greater and brings us even more towards the end of winter.

I love how it’s kind of an ´in-between seasons’ look.
Yoongi’s bright red look.

Jimin’s red and black square-patteners suit. The way it’s closed above his dark blue polo shirt and his white buttoned shirt is sincerely attractive.
Between all these suits, Jungkook’s look becomes even more beautiful. Flowing pants ordinarily suit his figure so well, but this cardigan and the way it ends onto his waist, and the turtle neck.

The outfits is one of the best that could have happened.
I think this part of the photoshoot, more than the ´in-between seasons’ look, is entirely focused on attractiveness.

The suits and patterns, the turtle necks, the bright colours coming alongside the blue shades.
No Wonder people liked the photoshoot so much, the looks are wonderful.
As far as I’m concerned, everything becomes greater and greater in this photoshoot.

The looks are even more complex and astonishing.
I think it has been more controversial. Peuple talk more about this part of the photoshoot, especially to show how BTS are into fighting toxic masculinity.
The fabrics and style are entirely modified here.

Way more leather. Even the shapes are changed, they are fit, skinnier.

We are more into a sexy look than into the same attractiveness as before.
Hoseok’s looks are really amazing.

The midi coats, either leather or fur. But even the fur coat that could make a fluffy and soft style is contrasted by the leather pants and those thick boots.

The second look is awesome, the coat matches the boots, hat and pants association.
The leather coats are incredible pieces. Sincerely.

Jungkook’s and Hoseok’s pieces here are far from the classical perfecto leather jacket. Especially Jungkook’s, which is quite coming back on trend somehow, even though more stylized here.
Then, it’s really all about flowing and wide materials.

This part is even more iconic.
The wide flowing materials turn into midi skirts.

It’s sort of a kilt shape with the waist I think, which are more known as ´male skirts’. But the combination with fishnet stockings erase the ´masculine’ traits. It is neither masculine or feminine, it’s unisex. It’s clothes.
And I think that’s beautiful.
The most iconic style on this photoshoot is Namjoon’s style.

The fishnet. The lacy gloves. The chocker. Everything’s is about details, and those details are absolutely purely wonderful.
The lacy shirt is beautiful as well. The shape, the unique collar. Then, the lace on the breast.
The corset.

Those super wide flowing pants and this FIDGING FKIN corset.

Namjoon has had quite a moment on this photoshoot.
