A thread: "Men are trash". Is this true and what are the consequences of adopting this mentality?

Before we can even begin this discussion, we need to define what we mean by "trash". When I see women tweeting about this topic they always seem to justify their claim by talking about rape and sexual behaviour of men.

So let's define trash as follows,

Trash: the label give to someone who sexually abuses or harasses someone else...

I appreciate that people may disagree with the definition above, and that's fine. But for the remainder of this thread, the definition I have stated is what will be used.
