I really want to know how white people are able to say “Don’t let a few bad apples ruin the bunch about cops”. “Separate the good from the bad!“ Yet they can’t seem to separate peaceful protesting from “ rioting “ and bunch the whole BLM movement into “a bunch of thugs” —-
like can a white person PLEASE EXPLAIN why y’all refuse to separate the two. Literally then last I checked our history was built on the looting, rioting, and protesting to grow america into what it is today. WEREN’T WHITE PEOPLE TARRING AND FEATHERING THE TAX COLLECTORS? VIOLENT?
At this point just say you look for everyone reason to dehumanize black people because there is no difference? Why is this unacceptable because they’re destroying small business or the big chain companies? The Boston Tea Party is a highly praised form of destruction of property.
Also why do “some” people cause it’s not just whites feel that POC & Black people (as a black woman i’m focusing on black people) aren’t oppressed? Why is it just work hard because yes you have to work hard but unfortunately with this skin I have to work 2x more! Not to say it’s-
Impossible but a disadvantage is there! 1619 - 1865 slavery absolutely no rights as slaves were considered property. Then after freeing the slaves they made MANY MANY DISADVANTAGES. The most popular Black Codes & Jim Crow Laws thats a clear example of systematic OPPRESSION.
1865-1877 Reconstruction: AA people gained the 13/14/15th Amendment the Gov. was offering gov appointed jobs etc. AA were rebuilding and creating communities. Then Jim Crow laws appeared AA were given the right to vote, and then threatened to death by their “peers” if they tried.
Quick Skip : 1867-1964 “ The Civil Rights Act of 1964 superseded all state and local laws requiring segregation. However, compliance with the new law was glacial at best, and it took years with many cases in lower courts to enforce it. “

SLAVERY we were still put through EXTREME hoops YES there was some progress but the bad heavily outweighed the “good“. Then you know they assassinated the face of the Civil Rights Movement how ironic. https://www.google.com/amp/s/theconversation.com/amp/exploiting-black-labor-after-the-abolition-of-slavery-72482
I enjoy going on random tangents when I should be sleep but reading these STEREOTYPES nah. Any person that refuses to see the difference in our “equality” or “privilege” IS CHOOSING to be ignorant. DON’T get me started on the late ass start we got with “generational” wealth
