I feel that the Pradyumna and Pondrak story arcs of #ShriKrishna are very dark and highly complex. Even the #Mahabharat had moments of light and hope. But these two stories have a depth of darkness in them that leaves you feeling extremely sad.
(Thread) (Pradyumna)

(1/n)
It starts with the usual demons creating havoc, but this time, even Sri Vishnu's hands are tied. Even the protector is restricted from directly using His powers to end the reign of terror.

(2/n)
Indirect measures are taken to do something, and in the process a lot of people on the side of Dharma are hurt, emotionally or physically. There are small moments of hope.

But the hope doesn't last. There is too much hurt and pain going around, and no one is spared. Neither the demons, nor Gods and Goddesses.

Even the Gurus and the devotees are hurting, and suffering. The loss of the ability to judge the correct duty, the loss of life, and the loss of motherhood.

(5/n)
There is no escape for anyone. The circle of hurt and pain goes round and round.

This story is a reflection of life itself. Maybe that's why it is so sad and hopeless in its entirety. Life all around is like that - a neverending circle of Karma. The only peaceful end possible is in the sharan and protection of #ShriKrishna.
