It's exactly six months to the day that the first case of #COVID19 was confirmed in the Republic.

It's mindboggling. When you think of everything that's happened since then. All of our losses and missed moments.

It feels like so much longer than six months in many ways.
I often think back to the day the IRFU were at Dept of Health and NPHET recommended calling off the rugby match with Italy - not many of us there knew what was in store.

A lot of columnists and presenters at the time were saying it was a mad decision. https://twitter.com/VirginMediaNews/status/1232798746850652161?s=19
We've all had to learn a lot since then.

When you think about how "normal" even things like the epidemiological terms have become to us, it's all very head-spinning at times.
Another era entirely. https://twitter.com/VirginMediaNews/status/1233004069519794176?s=20
