I’m trying to find more words to describe what has happened today ... simply put it, everything we’re collectively experiencing is just so hard to cope with

@chadwickboseman you’ll be missed King
The @Marvel universe lost a great one. You were so pivotal in adding a much needed depth amongst legends in their own rights. You played T’Challa brilliantly across four films. You will always be the first @theblackpanther and that will be cemented in history.
Your death doesn’t hit me like Kobe but this compounded sorrow I feel collectively with the world is just so unbearable.
A lot of us on this mortal plane are holding on to the threads of life and joy we’ve experienced with our time hoping for a brighter future to come so soon
But the literal series of unfortunate events of 2020 seems so bleak and dire. It’s just a lot of wear and tear for the soul.
Realistically it’s hard to ignore the world falling apart: tragedies, pandemic, political and social unrest, unnatural disasters ... all of it tied to death and decay
but we have to push on ... this is part of what has been happening to human life for eons
Although at the end, death do come for us all, until then we still have to experience the true joys and meaning of life.
So love your loved ones and forgive but don’t forget. There is still much to do with our country and our planet.

So don’t look away and most certainly, don’t walk away.
Today another life revered was taken. Tomorrow we’ll still see evil glorified in the media. Yesterday, we reminsced about our life before the pandemic.

Time is a construct that’s inescapable so just enjoy the ride.
“In my culture, death is not the end. it's more of a stepping off point. You reach out with both hands and Bast and Sekhmet, they lead you into a green veld where... you can run forever."
