This is Soshanguve extension 13 in Tshwane Pretoria. The living conditions here are appalling. It's like it's not in the capital city. The residents have been living with blocks sewage for over a year now. @CityTshwane @tumisole @CyrilRamaphosa @AdvoBarryRoux (Pic thread)
Follow the trail as we walk through this neighborhood where people were hoping for change when they took their voices to the voting stations.
The blockage has been running way before lock down. So there is no excuse as to why it's still like this.
You think this nothing. Keep following the trail.

The residents had to dig and make a tunnel for the water to pass but over year is too long. As you can see it's a dusty road, the soft gets softer and it gets almost impossible for cars to pass.
Residents say their homes and yards are flooded with water like Feaces. You can smell it a mile away as you some of these houses. Some of have kids and they have live and play in this kind of environment. Putting them in a risk to catching diseases.
This is a human right violation done here by the @CityTshwane municipality. The community says the municipality workers asked to be paid coldrink to fix the blockage.
It's a shame that those at the bottom have to suffer for what their leaders fail to do. Aloota contunua!!
