obama used his position to tell workers in the NBA, who are forbidden from striking by contract, to stop the wildcat strike and settle for bullshit symbolism, as he has done throughout his political career. so much of what is happening today is because of his craven demagoguery

he never walked a single picket line, stayed silent as card-check, essential to maintaining and expanding unions, went from top priority to "yeah, it's gonna be watered down" (courtesy of biden), to "oops guess it's not going to happen", and he keeps destroying workers power
