Make sure to drink some water, please. I know that as I post these every day, and you get used to them, that you will be more inclined to scroll past and ignore them.

of illness, etc., but that percentage is also largely due to people not stopping to drink during the day.

Same for people on meds, which often dehydrate people.
For those reading this, you can also try other foods or drinks that are hydrating. This can be cucumbers, certain teas, watermelons, and milk, just to name a few.

In fact, milk (at least full fat and semi-skimmed milk) has been proven to be more hydrating than water because it lasts longer in the body, so try that as well. (Sorry my lactose intolerant friends, I am here with you.)

I’m sure that you guys know a lot of this already. Maybe some of you are even annoyed.
And I get it, because I get the same way. It isn’t so easy to just drink water.

It’s easy to get focused on other things and forget your health. It can seem unimportant compared to other things. It’s boring, we’ve heard it a million times, and I don’t like doing it either tbh.

I procrastinate doing it every day, and when people tell me to drink water, my
instinct is to be like “no, I’m an independent young person and I don’t need any water. I do what I want.”
However, I know that when I forget to take care of myself, forget how important it is, or ignore it despite knowing that it will hurt me, it ends up biting me in the ass.

So, I hope that these reminders will be helpful, even if just for a day.
And this goes for everything else too. Focus on something this week—sleep, hydration, your mental health, confidence, having fun, breathing exercises.

Some people don’t have the luxury to worry about
drinking enough water or
taking care of themselves. Some people struggle to sleep or eat. Some people can’t afford mental healthcare, taking breaks, and the resources to make them at peak health.
I hope for the best for any of you in such situations.

Don’t get yourself down if you forget to take care of your health or stray from your goals.
We don’t need to add more stress to your day, and I’m not trying to scare you. Just do what you can and don’t punish yourself.
And remember: You deserve these things. You deserve water

You deserve breaks. You deserve peace. You deserve feeling good. You deserve happiness. You deserve love.
Don’t prevent these great things from coming into your life and make yourself suffer because you think you haven’t earned it yet.
Ily all, take care
