we didn't get creepy Luz this season. Just how I expected I figure that creepy Luz is the one in summer camp writing the letters. Also!!!! Magic Glyphs in the human world don't work apparently. Maybe because the Boiling Isles is completely surrounded by magic-

and well earth has zero of that. The titan's magic is still spewed all over Boiling Isles maybe thats why Luz can do glyphs. She took the magic from the environment
