This is the BEST and most well written version of Roman I’ve seen in ANY medium. Better than the movies and even THE COMICS. He has depth and he’s scary as fuck. (2/6)

The introspection on sex and how it’s animalistic and Roman is giving Gotham the opportunity to embrace their primordial roots is really fucking good and interesting as hell. The dynamic between him and Selina and the sort of hypocrisy and abuse there is PERFECTION. (3/6)

Julio’s art is fucking insane like it’s actually incredible. The red lights helps set up that sense of anger and rawness. It perfectly captures the sort of theme here. I love the idea of Roman’s mask being a BDSM mask and it looks great, as does Roman’s suit. Amazing job. (4/6)

The tease and the set up with Rupert Thorne is super cool and helps create excitement for the next chapter. It was also a great way to cap off this AMAZING chapter with that close and personal moment between Bruce and Alfred. That’s the shit I live for man. (5/6)

Overall BEST CHAPTER EVER RELEASED BY YFE AND THE BEST VERSION OF BLACK MASK IN ANYTHING GODDAMN MAN. Art is INSANELY good and the writing is deep and introspective and it’s just SO. FUCKING. GOOD. I’ve cussed so much in this thread because I’m just so impressed lmao. (6/6)
