St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral in NYC, flying the ARMENIAN flag. Armenia currently occupies the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, which has displaced 724,000 Azerbaijanis. Has this church's grounds ever been spray-painted with "Free Nagorno-Karabakh"? No. 2/

Greek Orthodox Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in NYC flying the GREEK flag (like many Greek churches. There is mounting evidence according to HRW that Greece is secretly expelling thousands of migrants. Anyone spray-painting its grounds with "Let Migrants In"? No. 3/

The Old Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church in Chicago flies the SERBIAN flag. Serbia refuses to recognize the neighboring Muslim-majority Kosovo, which Serbia believes is a part of its territory. Several ethnic wars were fought involving Serbia. Any vandalism? No. 4/

This is the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo church in Buffalo, with the flag of ETHIOPIA painted on its steeple. Ethiopia is rife with ethnic tension and political conflict. Any vandalism in regards to that? No. 5/

Here is a Romanian Orthodox church flying the ROMANIAN flag in NY. Romania gained control of the multi-ethnic Transylvania from Hungary after WWI, placing over a million Hungarians under Romanian rule. Hungarian ethnicity is still oppressed in Romania. Vandalism here? No. 6/

The Sts. Volodomyr & Olha Ukrainian Orthodox church in Chicago flies the Ukrainian flag. In Ukraine there are 1.5 million displaced persons due to ongoing conflict (not even talking about Crimea here, which Russia is responsible for). Any political protest vandalism? No. 7/

Here's the Vatican flag flying over a church in NYC. The VATICAN CITY is against abortion & gay marriage, & considers homosexuality a sin. This building HAS actually had "BLM" spray-painted on it, but no vandalism in relation to the VATICAN'S policies. 8/

Finally, the Turkish mosque on LI, NY, flies the flag of TURKEY, which has had Northern Cyprus under military occupation since 1983, & has killed some 20k Kurdish civilians since 1978. By comparison, 90k Palestinians have been killed since 1920, the majority being militants. 9/

In other words, more Kurdish civilians have died in 40 years than Palestinian civilians in 100. Can you imagine the outcry if someone spray-painted "Free Cyprus" or "Free the Kurds" on the grounds of a MOSQUE? 10/

This argument that synagogues are only attacked because they have an Israeli flag is utter malarky, not to mention demonstrably false based on all the synagogues that have been vandalized WITHOUT having Israeli flags flying out front. People just don't care...11/

...about what happens in Armenia, or Greece, or Turkey, or Ukraine, or Serbia, or Ethiopia...they only care - in fact they only notice - when they can blame something on *Jews*. Western culture is built on some great things - but embedded in it are some lousy things...12/

...including antisemitism, based on an inherent instinct to mistrust, be suspicious of, and look with disdain upon the Jewish religion, the Jewish people, and consequently, the Jewish state. But tell me again how vandalizing a synagogue was only because of the Israeli flag. END/
