May 29, 2020 (first day I went out to film what were then the "George Floyd protests"; the folder all of this is in is still named that): cops deployed some sort of "crowd control munition" and set a car on fire. They let it burn for quite a while. Weird.

July 16, 2020 (during one of many "dispersals" away from the MCSO/Penumbra Kelly Building): after lots of shoving of legal observers and press, the PPB smashed in a car's windows. It reversed. I heard a crash. Never found out what happened after that.

July 21, 2020 (during the federal occupation of Portland or whatever we're going to call this time period): feds deployed tear gas and smoke everywhere in the area near the US Courthouse, completely engulfing a car parked next to Lownsdale Square. Weird.

August 6, 2020: first time I saw/filmed (well, mostly heard) the PPB puncturing tires (BRENT???). Didn't even notice until much later because this happened as they were arresting a member of the press, restraining her on the ground in the street.

August 13, 2020: first time I really noticed the PPB puncturing tires. They just walked by and did so to the @NoPityVan. Unsure why. Then they roughly threw someone into the street. Unsure why.

This is apparently "protecting and serving," "law and order."

August 18, 2020: gee, they did it again.

The PPB then made a video about this. Their explanation of why they're going around puncturing tires: people are using them to "interfere" and prevent them from arresting people.

That's not what I've seen at all.

Weird.
