For the landlords it’s very convenient to increase the rental payment when they are short of money with a weeks notice.

Why doesn’t the same apply to tenants? When the tenant cannot afford to pay the rent, a short notice given is said to be unfair.

Saying this for me and many others who are facing the difficulties in this pandemic.

A tenant who’s never been late on payments for years, would not leave with a short notice if they can afford it.

I agree many landlords depend on rent for their living, it is not easy for them either when a short notice is given, but how about us? We have nothing to even depend on to pay the rent with so many jobs being cut off at these times.
