I’m about to cry like I knew him personally. That’s the beauty of good art though. You can touch ppl you’d never meet
Hollywood was so snobbish about Black Panther/Marvel. They hated how epic of a release it was. OG directors saying it was not “real cinema”. Assholes. Black Panther made an undeniable impact. We talked about that movie for 2 years prior and still haven’t stopped.
God bless Chadwick. I’m so thankful he was persistent, so thankful he did not give up on acting and films that people would remember. He knew his purpose and fully tapped in.
Chadwick was playing such Black roles. He honored icons with his acting. He himself has become iconic. He will always be the Black Panther. Truly one of the best of his time.
Do y’all remember this interview? I watched dang near every Black Panther interview, I was so excited for that film. He was acting with so much purpose. Now we know he was fighting his own battle for two years during this. It meant so much to him
I was thinking he was a role model in so many other ways but never for those battling sickness. What an impact
