Below is what I gather happened on the Rittenhouse shooting. I will use qualifiers like "Allegedly" or "I believe or "seems" for things which are not first hand knowledge either from witnesses or video. I will use the name "Kyle" to save characters (and also laziness).

1. Kid lives about 30 minutes away
2. Allegedly knows the owner of the car place and has permission to be there.
3. He is seen earlier in the day washing graffiti off of a wall.
4. Moments before the shooting, he is liver interviewed by a Mr. Mcginness

5. In the interview, Kyle claims to have been Pepper sprayed by "someone in the crowd" and says "We don't have non-lethal" when asked if he used non-lethal weapons against the pepper sprayer.

6. Kyle also claims to be a medic and leaves during the interview to apparently offer those services.
7. Shortly afterwards, I believe that the police tell him to go to the other side of the street.

8. At some point (a couple of minutes?), he and McGinnis are walking back to the car dealership.
9. Along the way another armed man joins them and claims to be there to protect Kyle.
10. Along the way they also encounter Joe Rosenbaum.

11. Earlier video shows Joe Rosenbaum yelling "Shoot me, n****!" towards members of an armed group. It's unclear if that is Kyle's group.
12. After encountering Rosenbaum (I'll just say Joe going forward) , he rushes towards Kyle.

13. Kyle jukes around him and begins to run. Joe gives chase. So does McGinnis.
14. Joe throws a plastic bag with something in it. A lot of people think it is on fire because it looks like that in one of the video angles. Other angles clearly show it wasn't on fire.

15. Someone shoots a pistol into the air.
16. Joe stops momentarily then chases again.
17. Kyle meets a charging Joe with his rifle in the low ready position and fires 4 shots hitting Joe in his pelvis, ling and liver.

18. McGinnis renders aid to Joe, taking off his shirt. Kyle circles around and comes back to Joe makes a call on his cell phone. I think he calls his friend.
19. A group of people begin to approach.
20. Someone yells "Get that motherf*****!" and Kyle starts to run again.

21. Kyle can be heard saying either "I just shot someone." or "I just killed someone." into the phone as he runs away.
22. People chasing him begin to attack him as he runs down the middle of the street.
23. They tell others "He just shot someone."

24. Kyle trips and falls to the ground
25. A male attempts to jump kick Kyle in the head. Not sure if it connected, but Kyle shoots twice missing him
26. Huber swings his skateboard at Kyle and hits him in the head after which Kyle rolls to his back and shoots Huber in The chest.

27. Gage Grosskreutz then comes up to Kyle, stops momentarily, points a pistol at Kyle, and is shot in the arm. He kneels, turns and yells for a medic.
28. Gage apparently said he wished he would have killed Kyle first later on.

29. Kyle gets up, turns and continues walking towards the police, putting his hands in the air at times.
30. Cops responding to calls seem not to realize he is trying to surrender and ask him where the injured people are. He indicates down the street.

31. Video shows him continue towards a parked police car. It is unclear as to when he is actually arrested.
