8 Reasons You'll Move Away From Seattle

A Thread About Failing Cities
1. BEAUTY

We aren't built to see humans at their lowest every day.

Homeless, trash, graffiti, and ugly buildings will erode the soul eventually.

Beauty is underrated until it's all you wish to see. Big cities won't regain the beauty they once had.

Move somewhere beautiful.
2. OPPORTUNITY

Opportunity use to exist in pockets. These pockets took the form of massive cities and metro areas.

Corona changed everything. Opportunity can exist everywhere now.

We are no longer stuck geographically.
3. POLITICS

Every city has politics.

The difference is most cities don't have political violence

This growing trend will become normalized and encouraged in major metro areas

You have no choice but to join a mob. Those that don't will be targeted.

Better yet, just leave.
4. BATTLE

Battling every day doesn't come natural to you. But yet here you are battling:

-Traffic
-Parking
-Job opportunities
-Cost of living

Hell, even dating fits into this list.

Having to battle sometimes is normal. But a city isn't suppose to be a battlefield every day.
5. PEOPLE

If you don't like the people around you, what the hell is the point?

Anger and unkindness is contagious. It can spread through a city faster than any other emotion.

Once it hits a city it's impossible to reverse it.

Move to a kind city with kind people.
6. AFFORDABILITY

If you are under 34 and don't already own a home. You are screwed in a massive city.

Homeownership is built within us. We don't want to pay for someone else's future. We want to pay for our own.

Move to a city you can afford.
7. Next Big Thing

Seattle, Portland, L.A

They were the "next big thing". Now, they're just the next big problems.

Something can't stay the next big thing forever. It will always get replaced

The next big thing is a place that compliments your life, not sabotages it
8. COMPOUNDING

Seattle is getting worse by every metric. It's not a secret, the whole country knows.

Great people leave, the city gets worse. Rinse and repeat year after year. It won't get better, it can't!

The people that could help have already left.

When will you?
If you read this far it means I struck an emotion
