I am making a statement now that I do formally apologize for lack of communication. It was an utter mistake on my part and I take full responsibility from that and will completely learn from this with future interactions. We are still in the very early stages of this con.
This will not set us back. It will if anything allow me to realize what I need to do better to improve and make sure this convention is a wonderful experience. I have no issue addressing that I was wrong and should have been more considerate and concise with my communication.
I do believe this manner could have stood to remain private rather than public but that is besides the point. I am taking full responsibility that the other party felt wronged and we will address this and fix it properly so that both parties can remain civil and content.
I am sorry for those that I have let down. I have formally apologized and have sent back the requested amount to make up for the increased shipping costs. I sincerely promise to do better with communication and the handling of this con. This will not set us back.
Donations are just that. I don’t want anyone to ever think we were ungrateful for them. Things got very hectic and tensions flared but having to give back some of what was donated to us in order to not bankrupt a business isn’t an issue. Communication should have been better.
We didn’t capitalize or steal money. So please stop sending messages saying that. This was a donation. The shipping costs turned out to be more than expected AFTER the donation had already been sent to us. And we sent it back. I don’t need your death threats. Thank you.
