Not enough people understand that the West didn't defeat the Nazis. The West *absorbed* the Nazis. https://twitter.com/Karen09944730/status/1298998026485334016
After WWII, in West Germany a huge portion of Nazi leaders, officials, and bureaucrats were kept in power and simply switched to reporting to the US and NATO.
There is a world of difference between:

1) The USSR taking Nazi scientists prisoners to extract their technical knowledge and

2) USA/NATO doing that PLUS placing Nazis in positions of economic and political power throughout the West, South America, NATO, etc. https://twitter.com/FabFoxo/status/1299713940138713089
Worth noting that not a single Nazi remained in positions of economic or political power in the east, following the end of WWII.

Nazi symbols and ideology was actively and intentionally deconstructed and dismantled in the east. While it was ignored or rehabilitated in the west.
👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 Yup, German fascists were inspired by US history of genocide, settler-colonialism, slavery, and apartheid. https://twitter.com/johnfavini/status/1299691728908226560
Oh and it was the Nazis who coined the phrase and practice of "privatization" in the 30s/40s.

It was then studied and pushed in the West, now loved and revered by effectively every single non-labor, non-socialist party in the West.

Unfortunately true. The US found it very convenient to simply take command of the fascists and imperialists in Japan.

Japan has long been an extension of US foreign policy and exploitation in the region. Hence why Obama and Biden pal around with near fascists like Shinzo Abe. https://twitter.com/heatherjochens/status/1299707728164802562
Um... Einstein didn't come to the US after WWII, he was a Jewish socialist, and very much not a Nazi.

Guess they took down their tweet.

That feel when you simply state facts like the US and NATO absorbed Nazis post WWII and placed them in positions of power and someone's like "yeah but we taught Einstein?? Democracy???"
Apparently people like hating on Nazis so please play my friends' absurdly fun game! https://twitter.com/TonightWeRiot/status/1299837824573857792
