[1/4] I'm seeing a lot of ppl wonder how participating in #inktober supports Fake Parker. Even if you think it doesn't belong to him it belongs to the "community", every instance of art drawn for the tag = algorithmic funneling of traffic to his and his sponsors' products.

[2/4]It's unpaid labor and free advertisment for his brand. W/o participants there would be no #inktober, yet they don't see a cent from all the corporate partnerships and inktober branded sales. Blick even demanded min wage employees to do inktober drawings for no extra pay.

[3/4] When he TM'd #inktober, any financial gain artists could create from it (ex: inktober zine for cons) had to go thru him or risk legal action. He consolidated power to benefit himself and corporate partners. The rest of us were supposed to just feel lucky to eat at his table
