Rewatching Fantastic Four.

Not going to lie. I'm cringing at all the history they squeezed into the first 4 minutes of dialogue.

"Hello, Susan Storm.This is Reed Richards who made everyone in college seem like HS students @ a science fair ask me Victor Von Doom for help."

I love that the Doom building has an elevator the size of a room.

I know it's a movie but lol my goodness.

The comic timing of Ben Grimm complaining about the suits and Jessica Alba walking in.

Dude, they make Sue strip naked but then follow her with her clothes.

WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THAT?

Poor Jessica Alba.

I don't like how Ben is sort of responsible for all the damage for their first superhero moment.

I also don't like that the wife showed up to the scene to drop the wedding ring.

I don't like any of it. Lolol

Now, I kinda like how they approached the press. That felt like a good genuine scene.

I love how the Doom board meetings are like:

"Wall Street Journal. New York Times. Business. Business Business. Great Depression."

"But I can change it. Give me a chance to turn it around."

" You bad business. You need to make good business. You have one week."

I like how the movie stripped all the parts to make the first act move like a bat out of hell.

Now the 2nd act has slowed down to a crawl.

Why is Doom evil.

HE should be the full on metal man pissed at Reed Richards!

If I could change one aspect to make this Fantastic Four (2005) movie memorable, I'd keep everything PG but make a Reed Richards/Sue Storm sex scene like Watchmen.

He takes full charge for the woman he loves. Its character development. Lmao

I actually think I remember being bored in the theater during the scene where Doom meets Ben in the diner.

Reed Richard's is poor and somehow building the machine on his own. Yet doom has cameras in his lab.

Where did Sue take Reed? Isn't that HIS apartment? How did Doom get access? How did the assistant know where to find Ben?
