1. Kusuo gets angry when Kusuke teased Kokomi too much
2. Saiki looks out for her even if he knows Kokomi can protect herself
3. He got angry when all those boys in her fanclub are selfish and doesnt really care about kokomi& #39;s health or state of mind
4. Their friendship is literally the epitome of character development not only for kokomi but also for saiki
Kokomi became humble and treated saiki as her equal and not just one of her "obnoxious boy in my fanclub" type of thing
And for Saiki, he genuinely learned to like Kokomi and finds himself protecting her from harm
even if its not romantically how can you hate them???? just because kokomi is boastful
