Liar was released September 12 2019 and the song is about being in denial about a 'crush'

The mv starts in a restaurant where camila is with her rich fiance who buys her lavish gifts but clearly camila doesnt like him

At the restaurant she meets the 'busboy' nd she begins to catch feelings for him but she has to ignore them as she is already engaged

This causes chaos to her life. As she must admit her feelings to break the cycle. This is based on the 'Grounddog day' plot where someone dies and relives the same day

When she tells a lie she literally chokes on her lies. This her first 'death'

This is related to liar but in this scene i interpreted it as camilas team dismissing latin music aka havana as they initially didnt want to release it

The 'tea time' channel shows how ppl love gossip and rather focus on that rather than the nice sides of celebs (as Tammy says camila is pretty but the other girls tell her to shut up

In the top right corner of the tv screen u can see the date: 6 of December
This was an easter egg to the release of romance

When camila wakes up the next day she 'runs away from her feelings' trying to forget them

Camila relives the same day and gets deja vu

For the first time she tells the fiance a small truth

The ppl in the restaurant see this happen and are encouraged to be honest. These ppl could represent camilas fans

However by telling her truth she ultimately gets 'killed' by an elephant

She wakes the next day and tries to run away from the busboy trying to get away from him and her feelings for him

Whenever she is more honest towards her fiance she gets killed. By the bicycles then the drones(these could show how celebs are constantly followed nd watched on with no privacy)

Camila tries to 'destroy' her feelings by burning the notes but this doesnt work and she is 'caught'

The dancing scene could show how her feelings for the busboy are making her crazy and she finally breaks the cycle and shows her true feelings

When she is honest camila wakes up being her normal self
The bird could be a reference to the cinderella film she is starring in

The note hints at the song on her album 'dream of you'

Despite telling the truth the media still criticise camila and her choices by being rude to her showing that celebs can never escape criticism

The detail put into the mv really does show that camila cares a lot about her music
