This is a poster from the Black Panthers and honestly I think about it a lot and it deeply effects how I approach activism and my thoughts about "work."

I always boil it down to a mantra "there's no such thing as a 'jobless rate'."

Also @LeavittAlone pointed out that it's not Black Panthers, but from an organization known as the New American Movement and - as per tradition - I said something wrong online so I will now enjoy an evening of being told I'm wrong over and over again.

I’m muting this thread now, but I thought I’d put a second call-to-action which is to meditate on ways you can decenter using Twitter/fb as a political outlet and think of creative and personal ways you politically can use person-to-person tools like email, Signal and slack.
