I rly want to encourage writers to start sending out their shelved manuscripts again, especially bc publishing has such a high turnover rate

Because
You know ... all the books I scouted from people were that, stuff they gave up on. And I ended up loving them.
I believe no book is a waste of time and not always is your book just not good enough for publication if it gets declined

Often you just sent it to ppl who lack the skill+vision to optimize. If you really love a book you gave up on & want to try again, with new ppl? Do.
Maybe we should get a list going of new agents with reputable agencies and newly acquiring editors at places that take unagented subs.

If you've been in the game for less than a year, maybe drop your sub info?
