Having a son who is an EMS, I’ve heard the things he’s seen in Covid wards in hospitals, seen his anguish over losing a crew mate, heard how he performed CPR on a dying Covid patient. People should be a bit more cautious about opening things back up.
Complaining that things aren't opening up fast enough is selfish and thoughtless. Having an event with thousands of people not wearing masks is an insult and a slap in the face to people like my son and our family.
Getting frustrated with government officials who want to preserve life by moving forward cautiously is willfully ignorant and selfish. Wear a mask, wash your hands, do your part and listen to health officials.
We have 180,000 Americans dead from this disease and I see people complaining that their state isn't opening quick enough. You don't like it, go volunteer in a Covid ward.
