I don't think America has entered a Weimarization phase. We risk confusing the symptoms with the disease. Our two party system remains stable, constitutional rights protected & our institutions strong + legitimate w/ the mainstream. Backlash against deviations remains high.
On the ground we are seeing bands of extremists and hooligans with time on their hands who want to act out, sow chaos, attack or harass their neighbors & opportunistically commit crime under some idiotic ideological guise. That's a major problem, but not Weimar breakdown.
Important to recognize how different in kind the US was and is to Weimar Germany. The red brigades and the stormtroopers were the shock troops of the German Communists and Nazis which were powerful political parties w/ Reichstag representation.
We don't have anything like that here yet. Do we have cranks in the two main parties who make it into office? Sure, and we've had them maybe since the country's founding. That's no comparison to the prominence of left & right extremists in Weimar Germany in its short history.
