Did a quick inventory of the 32 NHL teams' Twitter accounts:

3 teams (CBJ, NSH and STL) have NO acknowledgement of any kind - not even RTs - of game cancellations or the reasons for them. NOTHING.

4 teams (CHI, DAL, DET, MIN) have RTs but no statements of their own

(con't)
2 teams (ANA and COL) have vague one-line team comments along with second-hand acknowledgements

21 teams have full statements that include no mention of any individual victim or of police

1 team (NJD) has a statement that specifically mentions Blake but not police

(con't)
And 1 team - Seattle - has a statement that specifically mentions Blake and also include a page of links to encourage further education and action. The statement does not mention police.

So, 32 teams, 25 (and this is generous, it's really 23) statements, zero mentions of police.
I understand that these are for-profit organizations that don't want to alienate the many, many pro-police hockey fans out there, but how do you call for justice and an end to systemic racism without mentioning the specific violators of those principles?
Btw, please correct me if I've gotten any of this wrong - lord knows I can make mistakes. Also, I *only* looked at Twitter, not any other social media or the team sites unless the Twitter accounts sent me there.
Also worth noting that the teams in the midwest US - where Jacob Blake was shot by police - all fall into the 'completely silent' (CBJ, STL) or 'RT only' (CHI, DET, MIN) categories.
Just to round it out, the joint NHL/NHLPA statement names George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Jacob Blake but calls their shootings "tragedies" without mentioning police.
Update: 18 minutes ago Nashville spoke up by saying they didn't want to make a statement, just take action - which they will try to pin down in the near future. No mention of any names, nor of the police. https://twitter.com/PredsNHL/status/1299482915601084416?s=20
Update 2: They deleted the original tweet (screenshotted below) and put up a new one with the same text but different hashtags - i.e. #BlackLivesMatter is gone, replaced by #WeSkateFor , #ActionNotWords and #ForSmashville . No BLM but lots more branding.
