77% of working fathers say they are more productive since WFH during covid
only 46% of working moms say the same

Working fathers are getting 5.1 hours uninterrupted work time during WFH during covid
Working mothers are getting 2.6 hours

There is something so profoundly broken in this. In the info economy, you hire people for their brainpower (not for hours on an assembly line). Yet employers are losing access to smart brains bc they can't figure out how to rethink operations to keep those smart people around

Here's the challenge:
If managers and companies thought attrition of smart & talented women from the workplace was an existential crisis for their divisions/businesses, how would they do things differently?
If it was framed that way, what would they change?

More:
34% of men have received a promotion during covid WFH vs. 9% of women (!!)
26% of men have received raises vs. 13% of women

Why this matters:
Promotions compound
Raises compound
This is how you end up with organizations that are majority male at the top
If you say you want gender diversity at the top, you have to be super-vigilant about your promotion and raise % at lower levels
