Earlier this year, I was so stressed out. I didn't know what I was going to do with @Clarity_conf with the pandemic, but thankfully my amazing team at @kickassconf has helped me navigate the challenges.

Tickets were slow. It took us time to figure out the final form. So I understood that it also took time for attendees to figure out if they even wanted to attend.
I had to accept that while last year was 700, this year would probably be ~200 people.

But then something changed. In the last couple weeks, we've seen a rise in registrations.
I assume it's because while we are all feeling tired & so over this pandemic situation (when will it end?)… we still long for engaging in the design systems community.

So today, I celebrate. I celebrate the community. I celebrate US!
We just hit 500 registrations. This is FAR above what my expectations were.
THANK YOU. I cannot wait for next week! I cannot wait to be with all of you (remotely, but still together).
