- no written complaint was necessary to initiate invstg when SSR’s father complained over WhatsApp.

- police invstg in matters of crime is a function independent of the state & PC is not required to report to HM

-statements made by police officers & ministers prior to investigations were reckless

- if pics were taken after police arrived, leaking it was grave

- FIR should have been regd on the officer who was present

- if pics were leaked, it was intentional to support the theory of suicide

Primary attack of the media was on the failure of Police or system and it’s only for mobilizing public opinion. But yes, reputations get tarnished a necessary downside.

Shun the chalta hai attitude & apply NDPS acts ASAP.

- lapses led to media trials, the price of which is attributable to MP

- every investigation is a invasion of privacy & was necessary in
the present context

- when system becomes dysfunctional, everything falls apart

The impression is inescapable that MP has bungled.
