Supposedly fortified structures on this map which are designated as camps by USAGM and buzzfeed were identified based on parts of Baidu maps without high resolution images. More allegedly hidden camps in Kashgar.

Given that most of these locations that USAGM/Buzzfeed alleges are camps can in fact be found on Baidu maps the absence of high res satellite photos in rural areas of Xinjiang is not an attempt to hide alleged camps. The entire premise of this propaganda is fundamentally flawed.

Sometimes these alleged camps are completely obviously complete bullshit. This 'camp' is not only shown by Baidu maps but quite obviously an apartment complex. A 'camp' with a 5 star rating?

From the review we learn that this 5 star 'concentration camp' in Kashgar is close to a main road with many shops and there are many neighbors that go jogging at night, and the air quality is very good. How horrible!
