When KGF 1 was released, I was in Anand(Guj) training Engineers. Promotion of that movie was such that those Engineers during break would ask "Ye kuch south ka KGF movie aaya hai na? Aapka language ka movie hai kya?" I would talk about Yash and team and movie so much that (1/2)

it was something to boast for me as a Kannadiga!! Went to watch that movie(hindi) in PVR there and it was houseful. People whistled on Yash entry, action seq, his mothers dialogue! Felt so proud! Me as a Kannadiga in between Gujjus was getting goosebumps for their reaction! (2/4)

I literally had tears when I came out! It was my movie. Not that I invested in it but I promoted it as a Kannadiga. KGF 2 has high expectations across India. This is a pride for us. Movies like this make our language stand tall. Our people and our efforts recognzed pan-India(3/4)

When a Gujarathi says "Kya movie banaya hai re itna kam karch mai" is a pride of our craft and art.

Personally you wanna boycott? Do it! Don't watch.

But don't trend it and make our own art go into gutter. Don't pirate. Don't spread negative reviews wantedly. A Request. (4/4)
