So... fledgling idea...

l had a commuter bus driver who was running for office as a county sheriff. He was a retired LEO with a pension and was driving the bus because it allowed him to fund his campaign while leaving him a big chunk of free time in the middle of the day.
I had a friend on the bus who would pepper him with questions and I learned quite a bit about the politics of running for sheriff while listening to him. One of the biggest challenges is money.
It is very hard for challengers taking on an incumbent to raise money. Most people who donate to local sheriff campaigns are of the LAW AND ORDER type and not the criminal justice reform type.
Kenosha got me thinking about this. What if there was a national incubator program to recruit, support and help fund candidates to challenge incumbent sheriffs along the lines of @SheShouldRun?
A way to provide them with campaign funds, but also help them with how to run a campaign, build a base etc.
