Six Ages: year 10! A decade in the Storm Age. This is going to be a shorter update, as most of the actions this year were fairly routine diplomacy and trading.

Seems like Chardenei left us with bad luck for rituals after this Sacred Time stunt.

We get a lot of updates at the start. First and most importantly: Mirianai is now not only a legend in her clan standing, but in skill. Her combat ability is now Heroic.

The exploration party returning was sent out last year -- they were away for the raid on the Dar-Shamae.

As I write this thread, I realise I forgot the message there.

I never did raid the Irnathi.

What I did do was to try to spread the Cenala Revelation again. I figured it was a shot, since we have succeeded in the Gamari ritual... and lo and behold, we succeed. The Flame Singers, my allies, are now true believers. Only the Seven Stars reject her story.

Remember the discussion of Shamans? There's a new spirit society -- this is to shamans as religious cults are to theists. I don't see anything wrong with it, so support them in their rites. I spend some magic and get 19 seasons of good hunting -- I'll call that a bargain.

That hunting brings a food bounty. I'm going to have far more than I can eat -- so let's sell it. I can support more alliances if I send emissaries -- diplomats -- to other clans. So I take gifts to the Flame Singers. To make the Irnathi hate me more, I demad tribute.

The Flame Singers like it, but the Irnathi? Not only don't hate me, but are now paying me 5 cows and 5 goods of tribute every year. So I can't raid them. This must be a fluke, I think, so I do the same with the Dar-Shamae. Same result. I now have two tributaries.

A competition is held between the clans at the end of Fire season. I decide our diplomatic position is fine, but I need more respect, so try to win. We do well, winning in two categories. I can't see any impact on clan fear or mockery, though.
