The Ole Miss team was peacefully protesting under the Confederate statue. Once they left to circle the block, police and other men surrounded it.

In a statement Lane Kiffin says he met with team leadership council last night and asked how they wanted to be heard and says it was a good discussion. "This morning, the team decided to march in unity and use their platform to send a message."
