Abbreviated NO CEILINGS hitting streaming is a great weekend surprise and flooding my brain with lots of great memories.

Lots of sacrifices to make it available, I just hate that its best song, “Ice Cream,” had to be one of them.

I do love that “Kobe Bryant” was slapped on at the end, but I much prefer the original recording with Stephen A.’s Mamba commentary.

Speaking of, “Kobe Bryant” leaked with another song, “Told Y’all,” that is often forgotten about. It’s one of my all-time favorite Wayne tracks. Wish it would have gotten a proper release too.

I’ve always remembered NO CEILINGS as Prime Wayne (2005-2009)’s final act before REBIRTH (a very great album that I will love for the rest of my days) and the often-optimistic decline that followed.

I’ll end this thread with a dumb, recurring thought that I’ve drafted several times in the past couple years and always deleted: Shanell walked so my fav SZA could run.
