First, our fearless leader and team lead for NC Science Debate, @kamboj_ishita. She is a Ph.D. Student at @NCstate
in Materials Science & Engineering where she explores new electrode architectures for lithium-ion batteries

Next up, @alexhsain! Alex is on our candidate relations team and is a Ph.D. student @NCState in Materials Science & Engineering where she researches energy-efficient microelectronics for memory storage 


Next up is @becca_vanhoeck! Becca is on our candidate relations team and is a Ph.D. student @UNC_Biology and @UNCims where she studies the sounds marine animals make to ask a variety of questions about marine ecosystems and fish populations 


@degorelick is on our candidate relations team and is a PhD candidate in Environmental Sciences and Engineering at the @UNCpublichealth. David works at UNC's Center on Financial Risk in Environmental Systems, and have broad interests in solving resource allocation problems 


@hannalberman - candidate relations - is a PhD candidate in @NCStateVetMed in Comparative Biomedical Sciences! She studies the vaginal microbiome and the bacterial variations of Gardnerella and how that relates to gynecological and obstetric outcomes such as preterm birth. 


Justin Middleton - @Dysosmia - serves on the public relations committee and is a Ph.D. student @cscncsu where he studies software engineering communities and tools that allow effective work! 


Megan Damico - @MicrobialMeg - is on our public relations team and is a Ph.D. candidate at @bio_uncg where she investigates the honey bee gut microbiome and different factors of influence on strain-level diversity.
