I have to wonder if all the people who are telling us about the crimes of murder victims have any idea of the statistics about cops and domestic violence?
But then I think, it would never matter to them if they did.
I do not want to have to talk about this. Yea, I have been abused by men.
No, that doesn't mean it would be ok for people to murder those men.
And btw, people are complicated. It is possible for people to be a bastard in one situation and a hero in another.
It would be so easy if we could split the world into evil people and good people, but that isn't gonna happen, so let's not encourage murdering anyone.
And that's what people are doing, btw.
If you glorify and lionize a murderer, you encourage copycats.
But for that 17 year old manchild bringing his rifle along to a protest, those people who are now dead would still be alive.
Those men may have been bastards or heros or both, but they shouldn't have had their lives taken from them. They should still be alive today.
The glorification of this senseless act of killing is endlessly grotesque. It will cause further escalations of violence and more death.
We should stop fucking around here, or more people will be killed.
