120. The Gates of Broad Mordor

Legend has it that Nottingham can only be freed from the curse of Sauron once a stout-hearted hobbit returns a dilapidated trainer and throws it into the bubbling furnace of Jonathan James.

A nice touch - the blanking out of the "Intu". It's like a spurned lover with an album of photos with the cut out silhouettes of their ex.

Although on closer inspection, it's looking more like the opening sequence of a Scandiwegian noir. What has the hi-vis man found? More space for which people? What has been erased from the local records? We need a harassed local mother in a big jumper to put the pieces together.
