More details from the @WisDOJ invetigation in the shooting of Jacob Blake:

"After the initial attempt to arrest Mr. Blake, Kenosha Police Officer Rusten Sheskey deployed a taser to attempt to stop Mr. Blake. When that attempt failed...
...Kenosha Police Officer Vincent Arenas also deployed his taser, however that taser was also not successful in stopping Mr. Blake."
"Arenas has served with Kenosha Police Department since February 2019, with prior service with the United States Capitol Police Department. Also present was Kenosha Police Officer Brittany Meronek who joined Kenosha Police Department in January of this year."

Comparing side by side with the release from Wednesday evening, the only new information appears to be on Arenas and Meronek
Worth noting in this thread: The release also reiterated that in the course of the investigation, “Blake admitted that he had a knife in his possession.”

Attorneys representing Blake’s family are disputing that account.
“Jacob did nothing to provoke police,” attorneys Ben Crump, Patrick Salvi and B’Ivory Lamarr said in a release.

“Witnesses confirm that he was not in possession of a knife and didn’t threaten officers in any way.”

Latest DOJ release doesn’t detail whether officers knew Blake had a knife before he was shot.
