My analysis and understanding of Dynamite lyrics - A Thread
Verse 1
I feel its basically about how our lives have gotten stagnant in this pandemic and we are sort of living a same routine so the "king Kong" reference is to encourage us to be strong and hang in there.
"LeBron" reference I read could be about BTS& #39; road to success +
Moving on, the next lines I feel is about to take a break and indulge in stress relieving or leisure time activities - go out with a friend, play "ping-pong".
Pre chorus
Has heavy reference to disco. Idk if it makes sense but get on the floor and let lose because the beat is loud as "cha-ching", also used for the sound coins make when they fall. And then Hoseok sings about disco and how he& #39;s into that now maybe I am reaching +
But then he proceeds to sing he& #39;s a diamond and he& #39;d glow up so, maybe when he is dancing, that& #39;s when he shines the brightest? And Jimin sings the same part later in the song.
The chorus
They sing how they& #39;re in the stars. Stars shine bright and light up the night now, could it be how they& #39;re up high in the sky (successful) so, they& #39;d try to bring light into fans& #39; darkness filled days? Also, when stars fall down, they burn, it& #39;s basically fireball+
So, they& #39;d burn bright and light up our world? God! I am being cheesy. Also, it is being related or used a metaphor to explode & burn bright just like a dynamite.
Verse 2
I read up about it that how BTS has always talked about issues that were unconventional where they come from and they& #39;re addressing their fans, the audience to talk about important issues then Tae proceeds to sing how the sky& #39;s alight so dance which perhaps could be +
A reference to they& #39;re bringing us positivity so, have fun and enjoy as dance could be a connotation as a relaxing activity in this context. Idk where I am reaching with this anyway, moving on, Joon& #39;s "medicine" reference which maybe implies how their music is a cure for us.
Then, pre chorus, chorus and bridge are the same.
