#GVRAT1000k day 119 ~thread~ Stayed around my home village. Did some trails on repeat and then headed out in the opposite direction from where all the logging is happening. A very nice younger hardwood forest to be found. Just takes a bit of bushwhacking to get there. ~thread~

#GVRAT1000k day 119 ~thread~ The bushwhacking is a bit of deterrent to others, because you never finds signs of traffic on the trails. Further back there was also a beautiful younger reforestation. And also a small grove of larger white pines. My 1st time in there this year.

#GVRAT1000k day 119 ~thread~ Always keep my eyes peeled for something cool and unique in the natural world. When I noticed a mushroom with several slugs on it. Appears to be they have been dining on it. Slugs are not an insect, but are best described as a shell-less snail.

#GVRAT1000k say 119 ~thread~ Another sign that summer is pretty much over is our Rose of Sharon is blooming in our gardens. When all the other flowers are finishing off, the Rose of Sharon flowers strong. As long as we don't get an early frost, it will continue to do so.

#GVRAT1000k day 119 ~thread~ Before I headed out on my daily #GVRAT adventure I changed the sign at the highway. Sometimes people rent it for a message. This week no renters, so I put a message about upcoming school. Excited to be back at the crosswalk Sept. 8th.

#GVRAT1000k day 119 ~thread~ I ordered some new face coverings from a friend who sells them. She asked what kind of pattern and I mentioned some thing nature related. Bless her heart she went out and bought the fabric just for me. There is camping, trees and butterflies.

#GVRAT1000k day 119 ~thread~ Ohh yes, before I forget 1 more thing. At the 13 km mark I stopped at a yellow gate, put on a yellow shirt & using the self timer on my camera I took a picture of myself. Then continued on my daily journey. 33.25 km ~end of thread~
