Marxists used to try and divide people & create conflict, with agitation about class. When that failed to achieve the result they hoped for, they moved to 'identity politics' & assigned labels to us all, based on race, sex, gender etc.

... about unity & equality, the last thing they want to do is bring people together. The far-left is dependent upon division & conflict, them versus us politics, the victim-oppressor narrative. They highlight differences rather than commonality.

... the left reacted to use of the phrase "all lives matter", when used as an alternative to "black lives matter". The phrase that is unifying has been opposed by the left, whereas the phrase intended to promote division, victimism & conflict, is now everywhere you look.
