There is nothing stopping you, yourself from going back to work other than:
1) your employers guidance
2) whether or not you want to

So if you’re on twitter telling everyone they are being silly for not going back to work... don’t. It’s a tough personal choice for some
People with kids are now facing the prospect of being the source of the infection coming into family groups in September as kids return to school
So there’s a really nice prospect of choosing whether or not to see grandparents because, according to Governments own findings - schools would represent a potentially jump in R rate
If parents who can do, can choose to work from home, then it’s actually a fairly responsible thing to to do, to control the virus spread. Just like government told us to as well.
It’s also worth remembering that this pandemic has still cost us less than 2007 banking crisis.
So yeah, you think going back to work is something you should do, by all means, crack on. You do you. You come for me & my families potential well being, well good luck to you. I will absolutely wait to hear the science behind it & look at the infection rate history.
One last point:
Before you turn “returning to work” into a culture war - I hang out with a lot of very much right of centre family people. They view the health of their parents & family as paramount. Painting them as leftie cowards when they’ve just watched uncles die? Not wise
