1. Does anyone actually think Trump did a good job with covid? Are you that foolish? The best response you could imagine was a guy saying "it'll disappear"? Bashing America's top infectious disease specialist? Hypothesizing about injecting disinfectants or powerful lights?
2. You think the optimal response was to rely on "a miracle" and promise people it would disappear "by April?" It was a good idea to hold an indoor rally, violating his own public health guidelines for his vanity? Really? That's was the best course of action you could imagine?
3. You think it was a good idea to tell supporters to "liberate" states that were following public health expert advice? Was it smart to dismantle the White House pandemic response advisory group? To push states to re-open well before it was safe to do? To hawk a dangerous drug?
4. The rest of the world exists. Look around you. America's comparable countries with covid right now are *Russia, Brazil, and India*. Italy, Germany, the UK, Japan, etc. have fewer than 20 deaths per day compared to 1200 per day in the US. Trump's response has been catastrophic.
