I’m reading the probably cause affadavit in the Rittenhouse case and some things stick out.

First, he was out armed after curfew.

Second, the object thrown at him was a plastic bag, not a molotov cocktail. It didn’t hit him.

His first victim was unarmed and was trying to disarm Rittenhouse, who was carrying his weapon irresponsibly and had it in a low ready position

As Rittenhouse flees the scene of a murder, while still armed, people try to intercept him, presumably to prevent him from getting away with or committing more murder.

He shoots at and misses one person, and then kills a second person trying to stop him from shooting more.

He injures a third victim, who is approaching him with his hands in the air
