((very short mini thread of me assigning everyone& #39;s favorite 5 operators some of my favorite wind ensemble pieces! i& #39;m gonna attempt to not gush about my picks but i also have no self-control so here is your warning))
((ironically my normal silverash playlist has been by far the hardest one to find songs for but i have a lot of wind band music i like that suits him well! so i& #39;m gonna start with him

here& #39;s the piece im gonna gush a large amount about this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2WRQBdAZEo">https://www.youtube.com/watch... ))
((this is literally the piece i was listening to that spawned this mini-thread, it& #39;s 16 minutes of hell to play but it& #39;s a whole emotional journey and i love it a lot!!! it& #39;s in four distinct sections and every single one is wonderful. +
((the first chunk is sad, never in a self-pitying way but in a way that& #39;s hurting. it never loses its elegance or self-respect but it& #39;s mourning and it& #39;s solemn.

chunk 2 is still sad but it has steeled its face, it& #39;s got a face of regalness and it& #39;s lighter but not sincerely, +
((+ there& #39;s a bit of lighter flourish that comes in here and there but it& #39;s never an integral part, it& #39;s still sad

chunk 3 is calmer and starts to lighten up for real, if only a little. it& #39;s acceptance and using every ounce of energy you have left to try to improve things. +
((chunk 4 is just. healing. it never lost the feeling of melancholy but it& #39;s very much not at the forefront anymore, it& #39;s the clearing after a storm - things aren& #39;t perfect, but you worked so hard to make them better and they got better. i love it a lot))
((ANYWAY i have a couple picks for pramanix that i cant remember names for so i& #39;ll add more later but: https://youtu.be/348U0_0Bf-E

the">https://youtu.be/348U0_0Bf... first half is so solemn but at the key change it feels like finally getting to rest after so long, like getting to go *home* so uh. yeah lmao))
((i& #39;m gonna go eat dinner don& #39;t let me forget about this thread i& #39;ll be back))
