SURPRISE ACTION: Protesters with the activist organization Black Future Project made flyers for a protest at DA Jackie Lacey’s house, but in a switch, the group is now at LAPD Chief Michael Moore’s house to stage a Die-In.

Follow thread for updates.
Here’s the fake flyer
Moore lives in a gated community. BFP somehow managed to get past the locked pedestrian gate.
Protesters have covered the house with posters.
And they’re out. As they protesters leave, one kicks a lamp on Moore’s property, upsetting the other protesters. Neighbors yell at protesters as they leave and say police are on their way.
This is how protesters left Moore’s house
Moore, the Chief of Police for Los Angeles, lives in Porter Ranch (technically in LAPD jurisdiction). Am I a snob for feeling like Porter Ranch isn’t *really* in LA? 🧐
Minutes after protesters roll out, a LAPD chopper flies over the property
Correction: protesters (clearly) did not stage a die in
Correction 2, electric boogaloo: his name is spelled Michel Moore. My apologies to documentary filmmaker Michael Moore.
To clarify, protesters did not jump over the fence or force open the door. They would not share how they got in, but I can confirm that much.
The optics of Black Lives Matter movement protesters showing up to a suburban gated community to protest a Chief of Police certainly play into the counter-narrative building against the movement—particularly with Trump’s cloaked appeal to “suburban” (i.e. white) voters.
