Rittenhouse was not attacked prior to the first shooting, according to investigators. (Maybe he would've been, but that's a counterfactual.) Rosenbaum, unarmed, did no more than approach him and throw a plastic bag in his direction. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1m9sDjYr1Nj_fpFr9bTycWPG8tS2aPDeL/view
Eyewitness said Rittenhouse held his rifle in a ready position, raised it—provocation, not self-defense—and Rosenbaum grabbed for the gun ("lunged"), then was shot four times.
Rosenbaum died similar to Ahmad Arbery: a rifle was raised at him, he tried to defend himself by grabbing the rifle, and was shot.

Arbery's killer claimed it was self-defense to shoot the unarmed man he pointed a gun at.
Rittenhouse flees the site of the first shooting witnessed by the bystanders who chase after him.

They weren't hunting some innocent gun-toting teen protecting anything, they were trying to stop a murderer.
Rittenhouse fires two shots at a man who jumped at him (again, after Rittenhouse was just seen shooting someone).

Then Huber, like Rosenbaum, tries to take the rifle Rittenhouse out of his hands. Huber dies for his bravery.
Grosskreutz is armed but the gun is not pointed at Rittenhouse, because his hands are up. No matter, Rittenhouse shoots him anyway.
Rittenhouse then becomes a fugitive from justice, walking past police officers and fleeing across the state line to Illinois where he was apprehended.
